ZENERGIES II:
APPLYING THE ELEMENTS
Zenergies 2: Applying the Elements was a sensory art experience of 5 elemental environments activated by art. Guests were invited to walk through and experience the energies of the elements while also witnessing the work of local, talented multi-media artists from all walks of life! This time around, we’ve decided to organize the 12 zodiac signs by their core elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether.
As viewers navigated through each section, they were encouraged to be aware of the symbolism, energies, and emotions embedded in each element, enabling them to understand their own connection to the natural world and the creative possibilities that arise when art and the elements combine.
How do you use the foundations of our natural world to understand yourself? Has technology and man-made invention strayed you away from connecting with a natural source? Do you find yourself looking to nature when in need of inspiration, meditation, or escape? How aware are you of the 5 elements and their influence on your daily life? What’s your zodiac sign? Do you relate to your associated element?
Air: The element of Freedom. Air symbolizes intellect and communication. It is associated with thoughtfulness, imagination, clarity, and the breath of life.
Water: The element of Change. Water symbolizes fluidity, adaptability, and emotions. It is associated with intuition, healing, purification, and the ever-changing nature of life.
Earth: The element of Substance. Earth symbolizes stability, grounding, and the physical realm. It embodies strength, fertility, and our profound connection to the natural world.
Fire: The element of Power. Fire represents energy, passion, and transformation. Fire is associated with creativity, inspiration, courage, and the spark of life.
Ether: The element of Spirit. Also referred to as Space and/or Void. Ether represents the vastness that holds and connects the other elements. It is associated with openness, expansion, and transcendence.
The elements are not only found individually but are often interconnected, influencing and balancing one another. Our guests joined us to explore how the elements inspire artistic expression and deepen our connection to the natural world and human experience.

ACTIVITIES
In 2023, Zenergies II collaborated with artist Mashell Black in his work,Temporary Mural #13, Mashell did the honor of starting the artwork and then invited the audience to make their own contributions to his artwork in the Zenergies II space. The artwork transformed over the timeframe of the event.
Anthony (aka 201energywizard) offered a group Reiki session for our audience to join for intentional healing of our elemental chakras. Elemental chakras represent the association of the body’s 7 main energy centers with the five elements.
