Zenergies: Born Under a Sign
Zenergies: Born Under a Sign is a sensory experience of 12 astrological environments activated by art. We invited guests to walk through and experience the energies of the year while also witnessing the work of 45 talented young artists who ranged from different backgrounds, belief systems, and zodiac placements.
It is important to note that the seasons of the zodiac can be quite the influence on our vibrations, moods, and even decision-making, whether we care to admit it or not. Energy can influence art in this way, and art can be formed and felt in more ways than one. Art can be multidisciplinary; not limited to but including visual, audio, and performance that can activate all the senses.
Despite skepticism, the energies of the zodiac must be felt to get through to the other and emerge as a new version of ourselves on every birthday. Despite critique, art is anything that includes the process of creation and change.

PROGRAMMING
We were happy to present a very delightful lineup of happenings for Zenergies: Born Under a Sign! The sensory art experience included timed manifestation tutorials by hoodnhoodoo , a reiki practitioner 201energywizard_tony , and healing performance art by @nillahippielove 🦋 We conclude the event with a comedy special featuring @livealottle 🎤
Our spiritual vendors @hoodnhoodoo and @tonysteanj also provided services and products that can aid in good (z)energy ~flow~ ✨
*Special note: This experience asks to be felt. If you are lost, hurting, or in need of comfort, we encourage you to join us in our collective solace. There is no doubt that recent circumstances have changed us, the way we work, think, create, and express ourselves. Fear has set in, and darkness seems never-ending. However, hope still stands, as does the need to collectively identify our struggles while attempting to recover for the future that lies ahead.
It’s okay to not be okay, but it’s NOT okay to stay that way.
We held Zenergies 1 at EVR Studios in Secaucus, NJ. Our Floorplan shows exactly how the full space was used to portray 12 astrological sections that streamlined into one another from the beginning to the end of the year. Audiences had the choice to begin the sensory art experience at the beginning of the year in Capricorn season, or at the end of the year in Sagittarius Season, as both served as entrances and exits.
We urged audiences to open up their minds to the idea of what art can be, and to not think of the astrological signs so stereotypically, but rather as parts of a whole consciousness. There is always more than one way to express ourselves, and even more ways to view and understand our surroundings. Every birth chart holds with it almost every zodiac sign and can represent that every part of us needs to be embraced, nurtured, and understood. This means that there are parts of us in everyone and parts of everyone in us. To accept this may have been very empowering, humbling…or both. You decide.
