Zenergies: Born Under a Sign is a sensory experience of 12 astrological environments activated by art. We invited audience members to walk through and experience the energies of the year while also witnessing the work of 45 talented young artists, vendors, and performers that ranged from different backgrounds, belief systems, and zodiac placements.

Zenergies: Born Under a Sign is a sensory experience of 12 astrological environments activated by art. We invited audience members to walk through and experience the energies of the year while also witnessing the work of 45 talented young artists, vendors, and performers that ranged from different backgrounds, belief systems, and zodiac placements.
Zenergies II: Applying the Elements was a sensory art experience of 5 elemental environments activated by art. Artists were originally organized by their Zodiac placements in Zenergies 2022. This time, we’ve decided to organize the 12 zodiac signs by their core elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. Dive into the fundamental forces of nature and their profound influence on artistic expression through the work of 45 local talented multi-media artists, vendors, and performers from all walks of life!

We wondered, what if we placed artists in environments based
on their zodiac sign? Would we find visual connections through subject matter, colors, or themes?
The results show for themselves.
We gave them one task:
Create a piece of work, OR choose a self-made existing piece of work that portrays the zodiac sign you are. Artists were allowed to express themselves in whichever medium they chose.
The following year (2023), we decided to expand on the idea, and started curating artists based on the element their zodiac sign coinCided with.
Again, we found themes of interest, and pieces of work that seamlessly fit within each environment, and
complimented each other.
